Lake Tahoe South Shore Summer Kick-Off: Celebrate the anticipation of the warm summer season with historic, cultural, family-oriented, and interactive activities. Enjoy live music, the Great Lake Tahoe Sternwheeler Race, and much more.

Summer

Star Spangled Fourth: Lights on the Lake Fireworks: Look to the sky and see the largest synchronized fireworks display west of the Mississippi. Synchronized music can be heard on local radio stations KRLT-FM 93.9 and KOWL-AM 1490.

Lake Tahoe Festival of Fine Arts: This is an outdoor festival that includes fine-art, food, and entertainment for the whole family. Come view a variety of artists' work in the categories of painting, glasswork, photography, sculpture, metalwork, fiber/wearable art, jewelry, mixed media, woodwork, and ceramics.

Labor Day Weekend Fireworks Extravaganza: On Labor Day Sunday fireworks explode over Lake Tahoe after dusk. Synchronized music can be heard on local radio stations KRLT-FM 93.9 and KOWL-AM 1490.

Autumn

21st Annual Kokanee Salmon Festival: Held at the U.S. Forest Service Visitor Center at Taylor Creek, this is a full weekend of family activities and the beautiful golden colors of Fall. Enjoy special events and great food.
