About UsCalifornia Conference Center & Resort at Fallen Leaf Lake Each year from mid-April to mid-June and again from early September to mid-November, Stanford Sierra hosts groups of 25 to 180 for events ranging from business retreats to educational conferences. Stanford affiliation is not required for group reservations. During the summer months we host Stanford alumni and their families for summer camp. Each year on Mothers' Day weekend and sometimes in the fall, we host a fun, family weekend for the faculty and staff of Stanford University. Stanford Sierra was originally established in 1905 as a family camp for Stanford professors and alumni. Existing staff cabins were built in 1907 and the Old Lodge in 1932. The Old Lodge is still in use today charming all with its hardwood floor, high ceiling and stone fireplace. Guest cabins and the main lodge were all built after 1969. Today this California Conference Center offers an all-inclusive package of services and accommodations, ranging from group lodging with stunning views of the lake to state-of-the-art conference center rooms with high-speed internet access. A unique feature of our facility is the number of employees who live on site. Our conference center staff joins us from all areas of the country to take advantage of the opportunity to live on Fallen Leaf Lake. Our friendly staffers are happy to share their home with you, along with their insider knowledge of the area, including the best places to paddle a boat, hike or relax and enjoy the serenity of Fallen Leaf Lake. We hope to see you here soon! |
