Spring at Stanford Sierra provides a quiet & serene setting for your group to focus on your important meeting content.  During free time, enjoy hiking to nearby waterfalls or paddling Fallen Leaf Lake on a kayak, stand up paddle board or rowboat.

The Stanford room

The Stanford room is our lobby area and is a cozy spot to relax and read in the morning with a cup of coffee or in between meetings.  Coffee, tea, decaf and whole fruit are available in the Stanford room from 6am – 10pm daily.

Incense Cedar D

Incense Cedar D is a two-bedroom cabin in the Hills area.  All the two bedroom cabins in the Hills and Lakes have the same layout and decor.  This bedroom has one queen bed.

The second bedroom in all of the Lakes and Hills cabins has two twin beds.  All cabins have decks overlooking Fallen Leaf Lake.

The Angora Room

The Angora room is located on the first floor of the main lodge and is just under 2,000 square feet.  Windows along one wall provide natural light and filtered views of the lake.  There is a ceiling mounted projector and large screen in the front of the room for presentations.

For a pre or post dinner gathering, the Old Lodge can accommodate about 50 people, weather permitting overflow onto the deck with its wonderful view of Fallen Leaf Lake.  If weather is cooler and your group is over 50 people, we suggest renting heaters from local rental company Eventmasters for the deck.

There are plenty of cozy chairs and couches in the Old Lodge.  Built in 1932, the room has a wonderful feel of history and ambiance. Choose from a wide selection of board games for some friendly competition among your group.

We can serve your choice of delicious hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.  If you have any musicians in your group, there are two pianos in the Old Lodge.

You can also use the Old Lodge for meetings and break out sessions during the day or just as a place to relax during free time.

Participants could join as many or as few workshops they wanted.  Post-it art was new to me!

Participants were free to join as many workshops they liked or hike, boat, or just relax in the sun.

Hewlett Packard also planned fun social events including a beach bonfire with s’mores and a drum circle on the first night.  On their second night, volunteers from the group worked together to prepare their culinary specialties and provide dinner for the entire group.

The event was a huge success and Hewlett Packard plans to return in the spring or fall of 2011 for more creativity and innovation on Fallen Leaf Lake.

The Snooper Chalet

The Snoopers have a fun, busy schedule during their week at Camp.  They visit the Fallen Leaf fire house, take pontoon boat cruises across the lake, and go on make-believe adventures to learn about the environment.

The Chalet has an expansive deck with views of Fallen Leaf Lake. A great place for some quiet time.  After all those adventures, the Snoopers need to rest!

The Snoopers are a nice group of kids, and they’re happy to share the Chalet with others during summer camp.  Our talented yoga instructor leads classes daily on the deck.  It’s somewhat secluded, so a quiet, serene setting for the calming effects of yoga.  During conference season, the Snooper Chalet is a great spot for some private time or breakout sessions.

The staff are cleaning and polishing equipment, removing the last remaining piles of snow, and sweeping away the cobwebs and dust from winter.  The lodge is ready for guests!

From 6am-10pm you can get a fresh cup of coffee or tea in the Stanford Room

During your stay at our Lake Tahoe conference center, there are a number of places inside our out to relax with a book, talk with friends or colleagues or just enjoy the view of Fallen Leaf Lake.

Some snow still remains on the ground, but temperatures are warming up and the decks are clear for lunch or meeting outdoors.

With Fallen Leaf Lake out our front door and Desolation Wilderness out back, meetings in the morning with free afternoons are the preferred schedule at our center.  After a delicious dinner, hold an evening meeting in front of the fire in either the Cathedral Room or the Old Lodge.
